The Downtown Alliance serves Lower Manhattan south of Chambers Street, roughly from City Hall at the north to the Battery at the south, and from the East River to West Street. We work in conjunction with Battery Park City, the World Financial Center, the South Street Seaport, Governors Island and New York City and State to promote Downtown New York as a thriving, business, visitor and residential community. With 12 subway lines, multiple bus routes, and several ferries serving the area, Lower Manhattan is one of the city's most accessible neighborhoods. No matter where you are, Downtown New York is just a short ride away!
