Green Buildings in Lower Manhattan

When it comes to green real estate, Lower Manhattan has a lot of it. We are currently home to nearly 5 million square feet of green real estate in the district, which includes LEED-certified and Energy Star rated spaces.

In addition, a number of new green projects are either under construction or in the works. The Goldman Sachs headquarters is aiming for a LEED Platinum rating, and the entire World Trade Center complex is slated for LEED certification.
