Description:
Herman Melville's classic story of obsession and revenge, revolving around Captain Ahab (Gregory Peck) and Moby Dick, the great white whale. The story follows the whaling ship Pequod, whose crew soon learns that Ahab's obsession with the whale is so great that he is prepared to sacrifice everything to destroy his nemesis: his own life, the lives of his crew, and even his ship. Directed by John Huston, the film won the Oscar for Best Picture in 1957.
