Description:

Auschwitz: Not Long Ago. Not Far Away., the first traveling exhibit focusing on the concentration camp in Poland is coming to The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial on May 8 — the date of the Nazi surrender in 1945. The exhibit will feature hundreds of artifacts including a Model 2 freight wagon used for the deportation of Jews, concrete posts that were part of the camp’s fence and survivor testimonies. With anti-Semitism on the rise, the JHE believe the exhibit is a chance to view the horrors of the past as a call to action against hate, bigotry and intolerance.
